We announce the death of David Leon Ferree Sr. of York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 13, 2026, at the age of 85. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Ferree and Grace E. Ferree (McConnell); his siblings, Esther Raffensberger, Linda Frantz, Marvin, Gaylord, Victor and Dannis Ferree; and his son-in-law Owen Aldinger.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Ferree (Meckley); his children, David Ferree, Jr. (Sharon), Tammy Cutler (Ron) and Christine Miller (David); his grandchildren, Abby Miller (Lindsay DeFusco), Allison Putsch (Jake) and Logan Ferree; his great grandchild Jackson Putsch; his granddaughters, Kelli, Evie and Marilyn; his brothers, Donald Ferree (Gail), Stanley Ferree (Susie) and Curtis Ferree (Linda); and his pet Molly.
