He was predeceased by: his daughter Sara N. Slipher. He is survived by: his wife Betty June (Wicker); his children, Kathy N. Keperling (David) of York, PA and Don Alan Nicholson of Fawn Grove, PA.; his grandchildren, Ryan Keperling, Amanda Kropp, Kyle Keperling, David Nicholson and Lisa Mercado; and his sisters, Jetta Rae Shaw, Marjorie Brogan and Dorothy Emory.
