He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor "Dick" S. Black and Alma P. Black (Mullen); and his nephew David Foore. He is survived by: his wife Catherine S. Black (Steele); his children, Matthew R. Black (Kimberly) of Irwin, PA and Melinda B. Wise (Steven) of York; his grandchildren, Braydon, Chloe, Laykon, Ashlyn, Makenna and Hunter; his sister Ruth Anne Foore (Hilton) of York; and his sibling's children, Deidra Foore and Douglas Foore.
