She was predeceased by: her parents, William Phillips and Velma Phillips (McCleary); her husband Christopher L. Thompson; and her siblings, Bruce Phillips, Louella Ebery, Hazel Crouse and Verlyn Horton. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Stewartstown Cemetery -Stewartstown Cemetery (13874 Winterstown Rd, Stewartstown, PA 17363).
