He is survived by: his children, Winnon Carter, Sr. (Gloria), Earl Carter, Jr., Patricia Jones Christopher, Sanford Liggins, Jr. (Ca'Saundra) and Shunda Liggins Wright (Antonio); his grandchildren, Aaron Wilson, LaKiesha Liggins, Michael Day, Yvonne Carter (Charles) and Winnon Carter, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Sa'Mir, Taylor, Jordyn, Mylesha, Daysha and Tiajah; and his great great grandchildren, Daysawn and Jayceon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bishop Small Memorial AME Zion Church (401 S Queen St, York, PA 17401). A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
