He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Fitz (Howell); his parents, Howard H. Fitz and Lestie Fitz (Myers); and his siblings, Marlin Fitz and June Barshinger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa G. Yocum (Mike) of Fairfield and Betsy L. Pomory (John) of York; his grandchildren, Cara Yocum (Jonathan Pinker), Ethan Yocum (Aliza), Lexie Pomory, Mikki Pomory and Sammi Pomory; his stepdaughters, Rexanne E. Goss (Timothy) of Lebanon, Susan Eller of Nottingham, MD and Michele L. Shoop (Russ) of York; and his siblings, Ruth Hartman and Howard Fitz, Jr. (Patty Fitz). He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
