It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene J. Jonosky in York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 20, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Eugene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Eugene farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jonosky and Mary Anna Jonosky (Kapriel). He is survived by: his wife Doris Mae (Pergler); his children, Carol Clinton (Jeffery Clinton) and Wayne (Lulis); and his grandchildren, Carrie Olszyk (Clinton) and Andrew Clinton (James McAuley).
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. (1551 Kenneth Rd, York, PA 17408). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
