She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond E. Barshinger; her parents, L. Pauline Hess and Harry P. Hess; and her brother James R. Hess. She is survived by: her brother Charles A. Hess; her children, Carol E. Burd (William), Susan K. Shoap (David), James R. Barshinger (Kathy) and Brian S. Barshinger; and her grandchildren, David, Scott Burd, Angela Limbach, Rebecca Mautz, Nicholas Altland, Laura Barshinger, Megan Ruffini and Samuel Barshinger. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
