It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Thompson of York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 13, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband E. Gerald Thompson; her parents, John Raver and Katie Raver (Hoffman); and her siblings, Anna L. Godfrey, James H. Raver, Edwin Raver, Kathryn E. Clark and Esther Fix.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy J. Scott (Randy Wanbaugh), Nancy A. Godfrey (Stanley, Jr.), Patty L. Mundis (Al), Larry A. Thompson (Tina) and Randy E. Thompson (Karen). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
