With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hendrika M. Strathmeyer (York, Pennsylvania), born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, who passed away on December 22, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Fred R. Strathmeyer; her parents, Gerrit Jan Stokking and Mechelina Stokking (Seuren); her sisters, Mechelina "Macky" Strongin (Stokking) and Wilhelmina "Willy" Nixon Panyik (Stokking); and also Jim.

She is survived by: her children, Fred R. Strathmeyer, Jr. (Sherri) of York, Gerrit J. Strathmeyer (Catherine) of York, C. Timothy Strathmeyer (Leah) of York, Brian S. Strathmeyer (Cori) of York and Robin A. Gross of York. She is also survived by several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
