It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hester Dotts Gamble (York, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 15, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Dotts and Eliza Ann Kennedy-Dotts; and her siblings, James Bubba Dotts, Sam Otis Dotts, Roberta Decoster, Ethel Mae McGee, Margaret Jackson and Eliza Frazier.

She is survived by: her children, Edward Gamble, Jr. (Barbara) of Pflugerville, TX, Joann Crewsaw (Charles) of York, PA and Kim Gamble of York, PA; her sister Elouise Williams of Salters, SC; her siblings-in-law, Ada Starling of Salters, SC and Olin McGee of Salters, SC; and her grandchildren, Yolanda Gamble of York, PA, Aisha Martin (Ricardo) of Orlando, FL and Marquas Fountain of Lancaster, PA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
