He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Salzman and Delores Salzman; his stepfather Don Snyder; and his son Stanley Salzman. He is survived by: his wife LaJeanne Salzman; his children, Deanna McCaleb, Larry Salzman (Cassy) and Frank Salzman (Jamie); his grandchildren, Katie Owings (Brandon), Anna Dubberly (Gage), Kyndall Salzman, Lynn Salzman, Trin Salzman, Jonathan Salzman and Larry Salzman; his great grandchild Asher Owings; and his siblings, Gary Salzman (Jean) and Sandy Gillespie (Larry).
