Iva H. Kessler Obituary
The memory of Iva H. Kessler (York, Pennsylvania), who passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 96, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Iva leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Iva may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She is survived by: her children, Linda F. Kessler of York, Jane E. Fishel of York, Stephen J. Kessler (Ana Paula De), Michael C. Kessler (Regina) of Santa Fe, NM and Jonathan P. Kessler (Kathy). She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Heffner Funeral Chapel (1551 Kenneth Rd, York, PA 17408). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Marburg Memorial Gardens (2510 Grandview Rd, Hanover, PA 17331).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Embracing Aging Fund, York County Community Foundation, 14 W. Market St, York PA 17401.
