It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline Wertz (York, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Wertz, Sr.; her son Craig R. Wertz; her son-in-law Nick Paduhovich; and her siblings, John Hughes, Phyllis Strausbaugh, George Beck, Betty Sowers, William Beck, Walter Beck, Robert Beck, Sarah Shimmel and Bonnie Myers.
She is survived by: her children, James E. Wertz, II (Leigh) of Dover, Timothy S. Wertz (Yvette) of Dover, Karen K. Ciapanna (Frank) of Coral Springs, Margaret E. "Betsy" Christie (Rick) of Carlisle, Malinda A. Holt (Howard, Jr.) of Arora and Kathy L. Paduhovich of York. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and thirty-four great grandchildren.
