She was predeceased by: her husband Ezekiel "Zeke" Way, Sr.; her parents, Richard Corie Sr. and Julia F. Walker (Chatman); and her siblings, Shirley Young, Richard, Samuel, Robert and Larry Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Way (Lisa Wagner) and Julia Kirk (Sylvan); and her grandchildren, LaTosha Caughman, Steven Coleman, Quinn Way, Nylaya Way, Ishia Kirk, Bryson Way, Quavas Kirk and Colin Kirk. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
