He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther W. Turner, Sr. and Lovie May Ponds Turner; his wife Lucille Margaret Serio Turner; and his siblings, Ola Bell McVey, Eva Dell Trimm, Louise Davenport, Frances Turner, Harvey Turner, Luther Turner and Leonard Turner.
He is survived by: his children, Josephine M. Schaeffer (Joe) of Westminster and Jesse L. Turner (Tracy) of Westminster; his sisters, Evelyn Mills of Hueytown, AL., Dorothy Whitaker of Eupora, MS. and Shirley Turner of Forest, MS; his grandchildren, Jessica Shockney (Steven), Jennifer Schultz (Matthew), Jaclyn Love (Travis), Jesse Turner III, Matthew Turner (Alessandra) and Joseph Turner; and his great grandchildren, Violet Shockney, Juliette Shockney, James Schultz, Zachary Shockney, Levi Schultz, Bodhi Love, Hank Shockney and Sullivan Love.
