It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan E. (Markey) Raffensberger in York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David E Markey and Mary Scott Markey; her daughter Sharon Raffensberger; and her brother William Markey (Bill). She is survived by: her husband Dale Raffensberger; her daughters, Linda, Joyce Trimmer (James) of Dover and Ruth Ellen Wallick (Keith) of Etters; and her grandchildren, Sarah Trimmer of Dover, Jacob Trimmer (Brittani) of York, Lucinda Wallick and David Wallick of Etters. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
The family requests that no flowers be sent and memorial contributions be made to St. Jacobs Lutheran Church in York New Salem.
