He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Newhouse and Vada Newhouse (Gibby); and his siblings, Robert Newhouse, David Newhouse, Norman "Cecil" Newhouse, Margaret Luckenbaugh, Doris Cole and Joan Hoskin.
He is survived by: his brother Joseph R. Newhouse of York. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
