He was predeceased by: his parents, Felicita Negron and Francisco Rojas; and his brothers, Nelson Rojas, Felix Colon and Carlos Rodriquez.
He is survived by: his wife Florentina; his children, Maria Rojas (Joseph Mallory Jr), Celia Rojas-Beard (Antoine Beard) and Jose Rojas Jr. (Finesse Murray); his grandchildren, Jalon'e, Saniya, Jalaysha, JoVon, Milyse, Luisa, Jose III, Keilah, Carmelo, AriyaReign and Artist; his great grandchild Amai Lao Zink; and his siblings, Wanda Brown, Iris Rodriguez and Julio Rojas.
