With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph A. Altland (York, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 21, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul A. Altland and Mary Altland (Martin); and his stepson Robert T. Powel. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette L. Altland (Frey); his children, Stephanie Franklin (Charles) of Jacksonville, FL and Blake Altland (Barbara); and his stepdaughter Carol Teter (Powel) of Cincinnati, OH. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Advent Lutheran Church, 1775 E. Market St., York, PA 17402.
