He was predeceased by: his parents, George V. Buffington and Mary Buffington (Cramer); his wife Janet E. Buffington; and his siblings, Thelma Senft, Jacob, Pauline, George, Virginia, James, William Buffington, Nancy Smith and Patricia Seymore.
He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Buffington Cunningham (Sam); his grandson Michael Bruckart (Angela) of Huntersville, NC; his great grandchildren, Gabriel and Ethan Bruckart; and his sisters, Dorothy Kehr (Linwood) of Hanover and Linda Eltz of Hanover. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York County SPCA, 3159 N. Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17403.
