York - Judy E. Kemmick (Coverstone), age 57, passed away October 17, 2018 at 1:23pm with her loved ones by her side. She was born May 2, 1961 to the late Paul Coverstone and Charlotte Mundy. Judy was an amazing woman; from a mother, daughter, friend, wife and one amazing GG to Kolbi Joe whose bond was inseparable and their friendship was unmatched. She will truly be missed by her little sunshine, KiKi also. She had a stubborn side to her that led into a beautiful heart that would captivate and create friendships for a lifetime.
Her love was truly breathtaking for the special, strong and beautiful person that she was. She loved to go to the beach and listen to country music with Rascal Flatts being her favorite band. She loved to cook for her family and friends with everyone loving her Chicken Pot Pie. She loved to read and do crafts. She loved to give her handmade stuff to make people smile.
She loved her animals esp Jack-Jack, Dixie Rose and her fur-grandson Ozzie who after her strokes she would call Tippy and called him her own. She is going to be missed so much, her smile was so contagious and she was the strongest person people know her to be. She left this world a fighter and fought til the very end of her journey.
Leaving behind three beautiful children; Joseph Moody (wife Mary) of Camp Hill, Ashley Cotter (husband Jimmy) of York and Ryan Moody of Camp Hill. One special grandson named Kolbi Myers of York. She is also leaving several brothers; Buster Coverstone of Virgina, David Coverstone (wife Bonnie) of York, Rev. Rodney Mundy-Haase (husband Darryl) of Castaic, Ca and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers; Steve Coverstone and Doug Coverstone. Following cremation at John W. Keffer Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt Rose Ave, York PA, there will be a Memorial Celebration on November 3, 2018 with a location announced at a later date.
