He was predeceased by: his parents, William Goodwin and Dorthy Goodwin (Dressler); and his sister Carol Goodwin. He is survived by: his wife Patricia M. (Metzel); his children, Laurie L. Potts (Rick) of York, PA and Douglas C. Goodwin of York, PA; his grandchildren, Jessica Dell (Rob), Stacey Eisenhart (Trent), Kristi Potts, Kyra Goodwin and Kylie Goodwin; his great grandchildren, Cole Dell, Peyton Dell, Brynlee Dell and Easton Dell; and his siblings, Barbara Gingerich and Jack Goodwin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
