Louise G. Garnett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Louise G. Garnett of York, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Harris and Gertrude M. Woodyard Harris; her husband Sherman I. Garnett Sr.; her son Sherman I. Garnett Jr. (Oleaptheo); her great grandchild Jamere M. Palmer; and her siblings, Edwin Harris, John Harris, Joseph Harris, Perry Harris (Frankie), Mary Smith, Agnes Harris Buchanan (Palmer) and Romaine Frazier.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Boanes (Melvin) of York, Veronica Bowman (Walter Jr.) of York, Robin Garnett of York, Maria Bowman (Roxann) of York, Georgina Garnett of York and James Garnett (Jimmy) of York. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Jabez Ministries (40 Jefferson Ave, York, PA 17401).
