With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luella May Shaffer of York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 21, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Godfrey and Edna Godfrey (Redding); and her sister Laura Groff. She is survived by: her husband Clarence E. Shaffer of York; her sons, Blaine Shaffer of Christiana, PA and Dean Shaffer (Linda) of Mettawa, IL; her grandchildren, Lance, Ryan Shaffer of Mettawa, IL, Jen Rieser (Eric) of Washington, D. C., Kay Donato (Cole) of York and Douglas Shaffer (Lauren) of Lake Butler, FL.; and her great grandchildren, Leila, Willa Rieser, Isabella Landi, Lorelei and Maggie Donato.
