With sadness, we share the passing of Mabel M. Rittenhouse (York, Pennsylvania). Mabel, born on October 22, 1935, passed away on October 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Runkle and Beulah Leffler (Sentz); her son Randy L. Rittenhouse; and her brother Kenneth Runkle. She is survived by: her husband Harold J. Rittenhouse; her son Gary L. Rittenhouse (Mary Ann); her grandchildren, David, Lee Ann, Jamie, Elizabeth, Andrew and Michael; her brother Vernon Runkle; and her stepsister Jessie Fishel. She is also survived by three step grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two great-great grandchild.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. (35 Gotham Pl, Red Lion, PA 17356). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at the Cross Roads United Methodist Cemetery (6881 Church Rd, Felton, PA 17322).
