She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil C. Walters and Mildred Binkey Walters; and her husband Gene Harry Mumper. She is survived by: her son Robert Mumper-Ham (André); her grandchildren, Abigail, Grace, Sophia Mumper and Christian Mumper-Ham; her siblings, Elinor Olson (Charlie), Imogene Fink (Robert), Virgil D. Walters (Erin), Dean Walters (Vicki), David Walters (Mary Jo) and Hazel Braun (Richard); and her siblings-in-law, Larry Mumper (Joan), Diane Klutz (Steven) and Jay Mumper (Cindi). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Frostburg State University (FSU) Board Dr. Mary Mumper Service Award dedicated fund.
