With sadness, we share the passing of Norma Elizabeth Clarkson of York, Pennsylvania. Norma, born on March 13, 1944, passed away on September 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas O. Ward and Christina Hoffman Ward. She is survived by: her spouse Nowell Clarkson; her sons, Arlin (Helen) and Andrew (Emily); her grandchildren, Benjamin Clarkson and Jenna Clarkson; her great grandchildren, Alaia Rose and Ivy Hope; and her brothers, Douglas Ward (Bobbie) of Westminster and James Ward (Mary) of Colorado. She is also survived by many numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home (136 E Baltimore St, Taneytown, MD 21787). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
