She was predeceased by: her parents, John Roberts and Olga Roberts; and her sister Catherine Smith (Cassie). She is survived by: her sons, J. R. Thornton (Ellie) and John Thornton (Anna); her grandchildren, Lauren, Hannah, Courtney (Tyler), Steven, Joelle and Jacob; her brother-in-law Charles Smith; and her nieces and nephews, Jonna, Jennifer, Tauni, Tatum, Monica and Anthony.
