He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Rowe and Julia Rowe (Raphel); and his sister Julie Rowe. He is survived by: his wife Karen Ann Rowe (Ness); his son Michael Rowe (Jennifer) of York; his stepson Eric McWilliams (Michelle) of York; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Julia and Theo; and his siblings, Dave Rowe (Marcie) of California, Betsy Dunn (Tom) of Vermont and Terry Rivers (Pat) of Vermont. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
