He is survived by: his children, Jeff Shirey (Susie), Laurie Deardorff (Marc) and Amy Shirey; his grandchildren, Kate Sweeney (Rob), Roni Bragdon (Danny), Sarah Tezak (Ryan), Emma Swisher (Ryan), Evan Shirey (Bre), Adam Deardorff, Sam Deardorff and Jack Deardorff (Allie); and his siblings, Joanne Waltersdorff (Robert), Mary Anne Shirey, Sara Ural (Thomas) and Dennis Shirey (Joyce).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Fairview Church (1873 New Fairview Church Rd, York, PA 17403). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
