He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ferguson and Ethel Ferguson (Rinehart); and his stepson Leonard Michael Rineholt. He is survived by: his spouse LaJauna M. Ferguson (Riley); his sons, Richard E. Ferguson, Jr. of North Carolina and Robert A. Ferguson of Florida; his stepdaughter Lovenia Marie Price of York; and his siblings, Dennis Ferguson of Shrewsbury and Ruth Stauffer of Red Lion. He is also survived by four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (2740 Roosevelt Ave, York, PA 17408). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
