We are sad to announce that, on October 15, 2025, at the age of 99, Robert Edwin Hess (York, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Robert's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Robert's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Adam and Erma Romaine Hess (Berkheimer); and his sister Cleo L. Eppley. He is survived by: his wife Sara Elizabeth Hess (Ebersole); and his children, Charles E. Hess (Cheryl) of York and Margaret E. Ruppert (Samuel) of Renovo. He is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and three great, great grandchildren.
