He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Kramer and Ruth E. Kramer (Berkheiser); and his grandson Brandon Fregm. He is survived by: his wife Brenda L. Kramer (Smith); his daughter Tracy Fregm (Troy); his granddaughter Brittany Fregm; his great grandchildren, Koa and Aspen; and his sister Terrie Wallace.
