We announce the death of Rose Marie Hardesty (York, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 55. Rose will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her mother Virginia Marie Hardesty; and her sister Christina Foster. She is survived by: her children, Anthony T. Mingo, Areenia T. Mingo and Merlow T. Mingo; her grandchildren, Dahmaj De'Shields, Ta'Yona De'Shields, Dan'Niya Johnson, Jai'Asia Mingo, Clarence Lutzinger, Malik Walker, Akyah Mingo, Aaliyah Walker and Andrew Lutzinger; and her sisters, Pamela A. Hardesty and Virgina Hardesty.
Viewing was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gladfelter Funeral Home (822 E Market St, York, PA 17403). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray costs.
