He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Pies and Helen Pies (Schwartz). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Pies (Dutkowski); his sons, Timothy (Jessica) and Terence (Whitney) of New Jersey; his grandchildren, Lauren and Henry; and his siblings, Ronald Pies (Andrea) of Margaretville, NY, Carol (Richard Chait) of Alexandria, VA, Kathy of Encinitas, CA and Connie Laughead of Nevada. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
