She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Brubaker and Anna Brubaker (Maul); her husband Charles W. Bowen IV; her son David Bowen; her brother Bernard; and her sister-in-law Ruth Brubaker.
She is survived by: her children, John S. Bowen (Mary Jane) of Easton, PA, Robert A. Bowen of York, PA and Elizabeth B. Barton (Michael) of York, PA; her grandchildren, Dr. Meredith Bowen, Meghan Bowen, Kathryn Bowen (Alex Gibson), Jennifer Barton, Ryan Barton (Emily), Matthew Barton (Jules Tierney) and Carolyn Barton; and her great grandchildren, Penelope, Eloise, Madelyn and Wyatt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Advent Lutheran Church.
