He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel D. Weedon, Sr. and Eva Weedon (Sweeney); his brothers, Wayne Weedon and Keith Beatty; and his uncle Harold Sweeney.

He is survived by: his wife Tracy Weedon; his children, Samuel D. Weedon III, Vinecia Fulp (Kalvin), Sophia (Samantha Weedon), Yolanda Minter (Edward), Alicia (Brittaney Romero) and Angel (Jennifer Schueg); his godson Hannibal (Flores); and his siblings, Gary Weedon, Bernadette Wilson (James) and Wanda Weedon. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
