She is survived by: her stepsons, Michael K. Wilhide and J. D. Wilhide II; her sisters, Elberta Sheffer and Jane Harleman; her nephews, Matthew Sheffer and Andrew Sheffer; and her niece Linda Able. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
