We announce the death of Shannon E. Smith (York, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 54. Shannon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Carl Smith; and his brother Butchy Smith. He is survived by: his mother Marguerite Smith; his wife Anita Smith; his children, Swaydlin Howard (Garrett) and Sabastain Smith (Faith); his grandchildren, Azarrah Howard, Shelbi Smith, Adrian Howard, Sunni Smith, Jaxson Lehr and Lexi Cox; and his sisters, Heather Smith and Peggy Campbell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the God Community Church (147 1st Ave, Red Lion, PA 17356). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
