She was predeceased by: her husband Philip J. Markey; her parents, Howard Hengst and Anna McConnell Hengst (Bahn); and her siblings, Beatrice Mitzel, William Hengst, Grace Ferree (McConnel), Hilda Forry (Hengst), Credia Gladfelter (Hengst) and Millard Hengst.
She is survived by: her daughter Sylvia Landis (Bob) of Okeechobee, FL; and her brother Howard Hengst, Jr. (Elva) of York. She is also survived by many loving neighbors and friends.
