He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Diehl and Clova Diehl (Yohe); his daughter Shonna Sapack; his son-in-law Patrick Sapack; and his sister Victoria Suarez.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine E. Diehl (Gladfelter); his son Stanley L. Diehl, II (Shiela); and his siblings, Rose Aguilar (Joel), Iris Willow and Ross Diehl (Donna). He is also survived by six grandchildren; one great-grandson.
