He was predeceased by: his father Jack Bernard Gingerich, Sr.; and his stepsister Connie Taylor. He is survived by: his mother Nova Jean Gingerich (Cornbower); his wife Christina Gingerich; his daughter Bryana N. Carbaugh (Brandon); his grandchildren, Jaden Gingerich and Kaylee Carbaugh; and his siblings, Tammy Miller (David), Kenneth Gingerich (Patti) and Jack Gingerich, Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
