He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

“Terry L. Snelbaker ...Graduate of Company D 10th Bn 3rd Training Brigade 2 june 1967 ( basic Training Fort Benning Ga. ) we called him " Mother " cause he was the one we met on the bus to Syracuse for indoctrination,he kept us in a group every where we went ,checked us into our hotel, when we got to basic camp he kept us in a group in the barracks . a good man Terry was , great sense of humor, a take lead kinda guy. Rest in Peace "mother " you'll not be forgotten”
