He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Fickes and Marguerite I. Fickes (Bell). He is survived by: his wife Fern June Fickes (Ilgenfritz); his children, Sheree L. Coates of Mount Wolf, Jack C. Fickes (Jo) of Florida and James T. Fickes (Deb) of Red Lion; and his grandchildren, Jesse Coates (Megan), Jennie Showers (Danny), LeAnn Fickes, Grant Fickes (Abby) and Vanessa Fickes. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
