She was predeceased by: her mother Anna Mae Smith; her stepfather Wilson Smith; and her sister Teresa Wood. She is survived by: her spouse Angel Mercado Rivera; her sons, Angel Mercado, Jr. of Loganville and David Mercado (Katie) of York; and her grandchildren, Samara and Quay.
