It is with sadness that the passing of William Hensel of York, Pennsylvania is shared. William, born on August 18, 1932, passed away on August 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Hensel and Elizabeth P. Hensel (Schuler); his wife Dolly Mae Hensel (Test); his great grandchild Annika Rose Steinbeiser; and his brother Carl Hensel.
He is survived by: his sons, William W. Hensel (Anita) of York and Charles A. Hensel (Kelly McKinsey) of York; his granddaughters, Melissa Steinbeiser (Rich), Jennifer Bowen (Mike) and Kristin Mancia (Paul); and his great grandchildren, Zachary, Amara, Alex, Gianna, Genevieve, Emalia and Francesca.
Viewing was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (950 W Market St, York, PA 17401). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
