He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezekiel Yankovich and Emma Yankovich (Johns). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Yankovich (Donahoe); his sons, David Leo Yankovich (Kyndal Ann) and Michael John Yankovich; his grandchildren, Emma, Margaret, John and Mary Yankovich; and his siblings, Ivan Yankivch (Mary), Charles Donavon (Lisa), Ronald Donavon and Helen Stahl.
