He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Pollard and William Pollard; and his sister Anne. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Pollard; his son James Pollard (Karen Carney); his niece Hannah Franklin (Jake Weisen); and his nephew Ian Franklin (Ashley Taylor).
