Robert Nearing Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Nearing and Pauline Nearing (Anderson); and his brother Dennis E. Nearing. He is survived by: his wife Janet L. Nearing (South); his children, Eric Nearing (Barbara) of Dayton, OH, Victoria Haight (Randall) of Pittsfield and Cynthia Townsend (Stafford) of McKeesport, PA; his grandchildren, Kyle Nearing (Ciara) of Englewood, OH, Matthew Nearing (Cassie) of Germantown, OH, Kara Haight of Pittsfield, Graham Haight of Pittsfield, Sarah Townsend of McKeesport and Sydney Townsend of McKeesport; and his great grandchildren, Amelia and Emmett Nearing. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The military honors was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Warren Church of Christ (1720 Scandia Rd, Warren, PA 16345).
